Candle Care Made Simple

At Irene Faith Candle Store, we want your coconut wax candles to burn beautifully. Follow these easy tips:

1. Trim the Wick

Trim to ¼ inch before every burn.
Helps prevent smoke and keeps the candle burning evenly.

2. Let the First Burn Set the Tone

Burn until the wax melts all the way across.
This stops tunneling and gives you the best scent throw.

3. Burn Safely

  • Use a heat-safe surface

  • Keep away from drafts, kids, and pets

  • Never leave a candle unattended

4. Make the Most of Your Fragrance

Burn 2–4 hours at a time.
Don’t burn longer than 4 hours.
Keep the lid on when not in use.

5. Store with Care

Keep candles in a cool, dry place and out of sunlight.
Store upright and covered to protect the scent.

6. Reuse Your Jar

Once finished, reuse the jar for décor, storage, or a new candle.

Proper care = cleaner burn, stronger fragrance, and longer-lasting candles.

Hi, I'm Sunshine — and yes, that name was given with purpose. I've always believed that light has a way of finding people right when they need it most. That belief is what sparked this business.

I'm a faith-filled woman who loves Jesus and has fire in her heart. Every candle I pour is made with intention — not just to smell good, but to feel like something. Like warmth. Like peace. Like coming home.

When I'm not pouring candles, you'll find me lost in a good book or putting words on a page. I've always been drawn to storytelling — and in a way, every candle I make tells one, too.

A little extra about me — I also wear my story on my skin. But above all else, my faith guides my hands, and my candles carry that light forward.

When off the clock, you can find me writing, reading, and praising the Lord who saved me!
